We met at our mothers' group following the births of our sons. We had a lot in common in that we were working women with demanding jobs, first-time mothers, and experiencing difficulties with our childcare arrangements. We realised that our work performance and family life was being affected by the lack of emergency and other flexible child care options. We decided to join forces and fix the problem.
We maintain very high standards and have a keen interest in being involved in any initiatives that will raise the profile of the nanny industry, give nannies a voice and speak up about issues facing parents and businesses such as making nanny services tax deductible.
We hold professional memberships to Child Care NSW and AHRI .
Most recently we participated in the "Nannies Day" roundtable hearing held by The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Family and Human Services (convened by Bronwyn Bishop). The purpose of the round table was for the Committee to learn more about issues facing the nanny industry.
We hope we can help you to balance your work and family life too.
